Laugh-out-loud good time
Imagine James Bond in an MIB galaxy... not as dark as the description sounds. A fast read, page turner, laugh-out-loud good time. Each "episode" is its own story revealing some quirk or life-altering event in Derek Fade's life as a galactic agent. To be honest I am pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this book and can't wait to get to the next ones.

Couldn't put it down
After reading the first book in the series, “The Hunt for Valdune”, I couldn’t wait to read "The Edge of the Abyss" and it was even better! I enjoyed it so much that I looked forward to reading this every night and would stay up way too late because I couldn’t put it down. It went by too fast and left me wanting more. I’ve already bought additional copies to give as gifts to the sci-fi lovers in my life. Looking forward to all of the upcoming books in the series so I can once again immerse myself in the fantastic fantasy world of Blake and Sherry Shimshock!

Hooked from page one
Wow this book hooked me from page one and didn't let go. Derek Fade isn't your typical action hero he's tough, smart, and seriously broken in a way that makes you root for him even harder. The story has twists everywhere, and just when you think you've figured it out bam another surprise. It's got action, heart, and a world that feels real without slowing down the pace. If you love thrillers with brains and a main character you can't stop cheering for, this is the one to grab.
